Two killed, four injured in Kohat incidents

Two persons were killed and four seriously wounded in different incidents in Kohat on Monday.
Unidentified gunmen killed Syeed Ali Shah in Kachee. The deceased died on the spot after he was shot down. 
In another incident, also, unidentified armed persons shot one Meer Badshah who was going home from his place of duty . He was taken to nearby hospital but he succumbed to his injuries.
The deceased's bother lodged FIR in Jarmany Police Station. 
In yet another incident three brothers Mohamman Tafeel, Rahat ul Allah and Tariq were accused of shooting Mohammad Furqaan injuring him seriously.

Explosives buried outside a house went off with a bang in Kohat Tuesday, however, no casualty was reported, Geo News reported.

According to police, miscreants had fixed explosives material outside the house of former mayor of Tapi area Shakoor Khan that caused blast. Due to the impact, the entrance door and glass windows were damaged but fortunately no loss of life was reported.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has established good tradition of power transformation from elite class to working class by electing Humayun Khan, a tailor by profession, as district president in Kohat in intra party polls.

Humayun Khan dared to challenge the traditional status quo approach.

“A new era of change has dawned, as I have been elected to the district’s highest office. I am a daily wage earning but I have been elected as the PTI District Kohat President in the recently held intra party elections,” said Humayun Khan.

The PTI Chairman Imran Khan, President Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi and others have congratulated Humayun on his victory.

Tribal Elder shot in FR Kohat

A tribal elder was shot dead by unidentified person in Jawakai area of Frontier Region (FR) Kohat on Saturday, sources said.

The sources said that unidentified persons attacked the house of the tribal elder identified as Ilyas Khan in Sangerkhel village and shot him dead. The motive behind the murder could not be ascertained.
