Power supply to refugee camps cut off in Kohat

Source Dawn
Electricity supply to 13 refugee camps in Kohat has been disconnected for non-payment of dues worth Rs40 million, officials said on Wednesday.
They said that the administration of refugee camps failed to clear the outstanding dues despite repeated reminders.
The officials said that electricity was supplied to nine Afghan refugee camps from rural sub-divisions and to four camps from the College Town sub-division. The power supply to the camps would be restored only when the dues are cleared, they said.
