Police and security forces arrested six suspected militants and two outlaws during the ongoing search operation on Tuesday.
The joint search operation was conducted in Muhammadzai, Shahpur, Jarma, Tappi, Bilitang, Junglekhel and Gumbat areas of Kohat district.
Eight people including two outlaws were arrested after forces carried out raids at suspected hideouts and recovered two Kalashnikovs, three rifles, five pistols, four shotguns and huge quantity of cartridges.
