The Kohat region DIG has banned firing in the air, music functions and wheeling on New Year night under section 144.
DIG Abdullah Khan issued instructions to district police officers of Kohat, Karak and Hangu to arrest those found involved in arranging dance programs, firing and other indecent actions on the eve of New Year and book them under section 188.
