MOL holds free eye camp in Kohat

In line with its policy of providing health care facilities to underprivileged communities especially in its operation areas of MOL Pakistan, the Community Development Department organized a one-day free eye testing and medical camp at Gurguri in collaboration with Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital Kohat.




The camp received massive response from the local community and was highly appreciated by the district administration and local elders. Community elders recalled the massive great support MOL Pakistan had been extending and held that it had always contributed to society through various developmental activities for the welfare of communities in Pakistan in general and in its TAL Block in particular.



Before commencement of day-long activity, a planning meeting was held with District Administration, Management of Al-Shifa Trust Eye Hospital and local elders in keeping them abreast of the development and chalk out strategy to extract maximum benefits for the patients. Besides sponsoring the activity, MOL Pakistan also provided logistic support to the patients. Local community had already been informed of free Eye Camp through print media, banners, and loud speakers for the last few days.



Medical team comprising 2 specialist doctors and 4 paramedical staff from AL- Shifa Trust Eye Hospital Kohat provided free check up to the patients. Moreover, the field doctor from Manzalai Gas Plant Clinic of MOL Pakistan also facilitated and monitored the activity
