KOHAT, June 20: Militants blew up two pylons in the Togh Bala area here early Saturday morning, suspending power supply to the Kohat Cement Company and villages along the Rawalpindi highway.
The Saddar police said some militants had planted explosives at the four pillars of the two pylons, which exploded at around 2am. Both the pylons were destroyed.
The technical staff of Wapda is working to restore power supply to the affected areas through an alternative line.
This is the second incident in a fortnight that power pylons have been blown up.
