KOHAT, : Security forces rounded up 14 suspected militants after a power pylon was blown up in Qasim Khel area of Darra Adamkhel on Saturday.
Militants blew up the pylon in reaction to the destruction of a house of Taliban commander by the security forces.
Security forces moved into the area and arrested 14 tribesmen on the suspicion of their involvement in terrorist activities. They were shifted to undisclosed location for interrogation.
The army continued artillery firing at the hideouts of militants in the mountains of Darra Adamkhel from Kohat. However there was no immediate report of casualties.
